CLEARWATER, Fla. (December 19, 2011) — Continuing to expand its geographic footprint in the Tampa Bay area, USAmeriBank opened a new branch on 49th Street in east central Pinellas County today. This is the bank’s ninth branch, with five in Pinellas County and four in Hillsborough County.
True to its axiom of “building banks around people,” USAmeriBank hired veteran banker Carol Reid as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager to drive the opening of the new branch. Reid brings 25 years of banking experience to her new role.
The new location on 49th Street North is in a convenient, centralized spot for many of USAmeriBank’s customers in Pinellas, and gives the bank a presence as the only established local, independent bank in the submarket. Also, this area has seen notable growth, and is a developed market for business lending and banking services.
